These are the “Goldilocks” of hip belt pockets. Not too big, not too small superior materials & craftsmanship. Havent been in a down pour yet but water proof zippers they use look pretty dang water resistant, but, my electronics still go in a roll top DCF ditty bag, or dry bag, or whatever you call it. They’re water bottle holder for pack shoulder strap is equally well made & functional.

Received my hip belt pockets and was impressed by the quality and it fit on my belt, I especially like that nylon straps used to secure are not elastic.

I have one pouch on each side, they are large pouches for accessory, I love how I can keep things I need asap easy to reach without taking out my pack

These pockets are great replacements for the useless hip belt pouches that come standard with many packs. They are roomy and the two-way waterproof zippers are very handy. I love the daisy-chain compatibility for UL pack belts but also the elastic slips so you can even use these over sewn-in pockets. They are not sized to fit modern phones but that's not where I keep mine anyway. :)

I bought two of these for the padded belt. I probably could have gotten away with just one because they have more space than I am used to with other belt pockets on other packs. No complaints though…nice to have the extra room.

Well made and good size for iPhone or snacks

I absolutely love this pack. Rides comfortable and has huge side pockets and the pocket on the hip belt is huge too. Plus just weighing over a couple of pounds is awesome too. Really strong material for off trail hiking too.

Good capacity without projecting too far out from my hip belt. This storage is similar to that of jumbo pocket on cargo pants. It would be a stretch to call it a pouch. Excellent customer service and quick resolution of an issue I had with one of the units I received.

I love this hip belt pockets from Waymark Gear. I have added them to my Waymark Thru 40 and they are much better than any others that I have used prior. Loving my Waymark Framed Thru 40.

I purchased the Watmark Thru with one hipbelt puch on it and the first trip realised that I needed a second on. I favor hipbelts for such items that I want to grab without taking off my pack. Items that most people carry in a hipbelt pouch like a snack, a phone, a headlamp, sun screen, ear buds, and a multitude of handy and small items. For me, I have a shoulder that does not allow for a lot of reaching, stretching, or pulling so most hipbelts require me to use two hands to work a zipper and dig into the pouch, but not this one. This is the ONLY hipbelt pouch that I have found that worked the first time, the second time, and everytime after that with the arm attached to my bad shoulder. It is also large enough to hold one of my favorite luxury items, compact binoculars.
Many thanks for desinging something that just works.

I love waymark with all my heart and soul. They make a great product that has taken me tons of fun places with loads of fun people. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Works perfectly, stays put, I liked it so much I bought a second one! Zippers stay closed until you need to open, they way they should. Well done!

The rear velcro attachment design is the best part of this zippered pocket, because it stays in place and I feel secure about placing expensive items in the pocket.

About as good as they come in this department. Plenty of room for all the snacks or goodies you could ever want.

Added this to my pack so I’d have easy access to my phone and a Probar Meal Bar in the desert. It was bomber and attached nicely to my waist belt. The zipper is a little tough to open sometimes but not difficult enough to be a deal breaker. Waterproof zippers are always tricky. I loved how it complimented my pack making on the go easy!

The multiple molly style connections on the back allow it to fit nicely on a belt. HOWEVER, I do not use a hip belt. I purchased this as a trial for a small chest pouch that I can use with the EVLV chest strap. It works well. I also bought a second chest strap to see if I could use 2 .. and that worked fine too. If you want to use a small bag as a simple check bag, this will work out perfectly. If you want to keep it tight against your chest then the 2nd chest strap holds down the lower section. Maybe I will use that configuration for winter and carry a few more things in it. I think I will buy another one and then modify it slightly by taking away 25% of the bag depth .. that way it's got an even smaller signature on my chest. It's going to be perfect.
